Providers and deployers of AI systems must take measures to ensure, to their best extent, a sufficient level of AI literacy among their staff and others who operate or use AI systems on their behalf. The obligation has applied since 2 February 2025.

In practice

What it takes.

What is sufficient depends on the role. A recruiter using AI to screen candidates needs to know different things than a developer. So training has to be targeted – and recorded.

  • RegisterAn inventory of the AI systems you use and who uses them
  • TrainingRole-based AI training with a knowledge test
  • PoliciesAn AI policy people acknowledge, with versions
  • EvidenceCompleted training per person, ready when someone asks

How it runs in Paragraf – on the same foundation as your contracts and processes.
